Period calf, spines ruled in gilt, morocco spine label in gilt (front board to Vol. I cleanly detached and spine perished; present in facsimile, first few leaves including map are sprung, rest of joints weak with mild rubbing to boards, horizontal tear to two leaves in Vol. I). Sabin 13519. A valuable work containing much learned research on the ancient history of Mexico.
