Publisher’s dark brown cloth stamped in gilt, all edges gilt, floral patterned endpapers (gentle rubbing to boards, light pencil notation and wrinkling to ffep, interior joints expertly reinforced, first few leaves restored at edges). A warm inscription by a prominent women’s suffragist, reformer, and national president of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union.
