Bulk includes the town of Bodie, California; which, at the time, was a booming goldmining town. Today, it is a ghost town and located in a state historic park in the Bodie Hills, near the Nevada border. Images include the town on fire in 1932, a view of the town from the Old Standard Mine, Bodie Miners Union Hall, two men holding up the Bodie Miners Union flag, a snowy Main Street downtown Bodie, view of old mining camp of Bodie from Upper Cemetery. Also included are a view of Goldfield, Nevada and the Goldfield Hotel; another goldmining town. One postally used, few with identifying notations to versos, light creasing and corner tear to one card. Rare.
