Albumen print on original studio mount of Chief Mountain Panther of the Warm Springs Indians in Oregon Territory, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and an ornately beaded jacket. Contemporary signature below image, possibly in Mountain Panther’s hand. 6 ½ x 4 ¼”. Few small pale stains to image, light dust soiling to margins; very good.
