FIRST EDITION, STATE A: quires C-E have been reset with line 1 of text on C1r ending with ‘betweene’ and the ‘3’ of Sig. G3 being beneath the space between the words ‘Relati’ and ‘to’. Illustrated with woodcut initials and headpieces. Rebound in modern cloth stamped in gilt (void to A2 affecting title (leaf loosely laid-in), private library stamp of H.A. Sherwin to A3, dampstaining to gutters and upper margins, few chipped corners). RARE. ESTC R483055; R199; Thomason, E. 1040[8]. Provenance: From the library of H.A.
