[INCUNABULA] SCHEDEL, Hartmann (1440–1514). Three Leaves from the Nuremberg Chronicle. [Nuremberg: A. Kolberger, 1493]. Folio (419 x 279mm). Leaves include CLXXI, CCXIIII, and CCXLII, two hand colored and rubricated. Numerous woodcuts of saints, astronomers, scientists, etc. Marginal toning or soiling, leaf CCXLII heavily browned at outer margin. The Nuremberg Chronicle is considered to be one of the best documented incunabula and one of the first to integrated illustrations and text.
