Early half straight grain crimson morocco over marbled boards, STAMPED SIGNED BY J. WRIGHT, 5 raised bands with gilt tooling, ornate gilt scrollwork in compartments, upper compartment titled in gilt, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers (few scuffs to boards, spine ends rubbed, scant pale spotting at margins). AN ATTRACTIVE COPY. Important work on the armor and vestments of the Artillery Museum of Madrid with 81 hand-colored plates of various weapons, swords, armors, and shields from the fine craftsmanship of Spain.
