Original half navy blue morocco over pebbled boards, upper covers gilt lettered, raised bands with gilt banded tooling, compartments with elegant gilt scrollwork, titling in two compartments, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers (ex-library copy from Franklin & Marshall, old adhesive label ghosting to lower compartments, corners lightly marred, spine ends rubbed, library bookplates to front endpapers, few quires starting; generally a clean copy).
