Illustrated with 36 full-page lithographic plates printed on heavy stock by Holly with each illustration including the estimated cost (in 1863), as well as a description of the rooms included and a description of the advantages and disadvantages of the plan. Modern cloth backed boards, morocco spine label titled in gilt, top edge gilt, renewed endpapers (occasional marginal staining and smudging).
