Provenance: from the Rondi Reed collection; a lifelong member of the Steppenwolf Ensemble, her name appears on framer’s label to matting verso and on backing paper with inscription “Steppenwolf Ensemble, 25th Anniversary/Shot by Annie Leibovitz” and signed “Rondi Reed”. Featured as the double-page layout for the article “Steppenwolf’s Tribal Wave” in the January 2001 issue of Vanity Fair.
