Circa 1907-12. 10 photographs of aviation pioneers and airplanes, including Lincoln Beachey “Doing Niagara Falls,” in a Curtiss D biplane, June 27, 1911; 1911 Maurice Farman biplane in flight, Andre Beaumont arriving at Brooklands, July 1911; Oscar Brindley, Wright pilot, Henri Farman with Delagrange airplane, 1907, Deveraux taking a flight with Sopwith, 1911, Morane monoplane in the Pau-Paris flight, 1912, James Means Smoke Signaling device mounted on airplane, 1911, Gnome motor mounted on 1912 Bleriot racer, and Glenn Curtiss being congratulated by French President Armand Fallieres after winning the Gordon Bennet Cup, August 19th, 1909. Most 6 ½ x 4 ½” mounted on 9 x 7” cards. Very good.
