Photograph of French pioneering aviators Rene Simon one of the most daring pilots of the Bleriot School, who once crashed into lake Michigan and was observed by another pilot, becoming one of the first persons to have been rescued through air power. 6 ½ x 4 ½” mounted on dated 9 x 7” card.
