Henry Woodhouse’s collection of 62 Wright brothers photos, many of which are original to their period, and a letter from the Wright Company, Dayton, Ohio, dated October 8, 1913, addressed to Mr. Henry Woodhouse, with an acknowledgement that photographs had been sent exclusively to him. The photos in this group include 1907 Wright Flyer with Orville Wright and A. B. Lambert on board, Orville Wright working on hydro-aeroplane in photo stamped on verso by Dayton News photographer W. Preston Mayfield, seven photographs of the first flight, at Kitty Hawk, December 17, 1903, including readying for the first flight, plane taking off on first flight, after-flight photo with the Wright brothers, and assistants O. Chanute, W. A. Herring, G. A. Spratt, and Dan Tate.
