Brass Dove Pan (Magician’s Chafing Dish). European, ca. 1900. Oversized brass pan with wooden handle which is shown empty, then covered, and when uncovered again, holds three or four live doves, or other articles. Diameter 12”. Detachable handle, faint dent to lid, else good. A handsome, large, and early model.
