Stuss Dealing Box. Maker unknown, ca. 1920. Dealing box with nickel-plated sides for the game of Stuss, or Jewish Faro, a variant of faro. The top plate is notched to allow the indices of the top card to show. The edge of the card tray has a thin lip which stops the last four cards from being dealt, as designed. 3 13/16 x 4 x 1 3/8”. Green felt to underside.
