Full crushed crimson morocco, raised bands, compartments ruled and titled in gilt, all edges gilt, broad gilt turn–ins, gilt stamp signed by Bayntun–Riviere, original cloth covers laid down and bound at rear. Provenance: bookseller’s stamp of Sotheran’s Rare Books. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with the 16pp. publisher’s catalogue dated “5 G.8.85” and all three textual misprints present.
