AVEDON, Richard (1923–2004). The Beatles Special Look Magazine Posters. Cowles Education Corporation, 1967. Four posters with portraits of each member of the band in “far–out” colors. In 1967, Look magazine commissioned famed photographer Richard Avedon to do this set of portraits. After appearing in the magazine, Look offered the photos as a set of four oversized prints. Size of each 31 x 22 ½”. Pinholes at corners; George Harrison print with repaired tear near outer margin (old tape repair verso) and few tiny holes to image area. Condition generally B+/A-. Unmounted and rolled.
