Was designed in order for USN personnel to wear communications headgear underneath their helmets. Marked on inside with “MK-2” and “U.S.N.” Strap missing. – United States Army World War II M1 helmet. Circa 1940s. Previous owner’s name written on inner band. – United States Army Vietnam War M1 helmet. Circa 1970.
