Color title–page, dedication, and initials, 37 illustrations by the author. Original limp dark green morocco gilt, all edges gilt (lacking spine panel, tips rubbed). Laid in with publisher’s printed slip. LIMITED EDITION, one of approximately 100 copies with the majority “given to various institutions around the world.” An exact collotype facsimile of Carroll’s original manuscript that is considered the most perfect facsimile of the famous manuscript originally purchased by A.S.W. Rosenbach at Sotheby’s in 1928. Eldridge R.
