Rand’s first monthly periodical that ran from January 1962 to December 1965 that used her philosophy (“Objectivism”) to explain cultural events and negative trends she observed before converting into magazine format under the new title The Objectivist. In her early issues, Rand discusses censorship exercised by the FCC, political and cultural movements, and a fight for freedom under the U.S. antitrust laws.
