Early full vellum gilt, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers, stamp–signed by White and dated 1850 (some splitting to joints, covers a bit dust soiled). Provenance: Marianne Talbot (bookplates). FIRST COLLECTED EDITION and the supposed definitive edition edited by Mary Shelley with the permission of the authors son, Sir Timothy Shelley, on the condition that it should contain to memoir of the poet.
