An 1898 Liberty half dollar shell with cut-down 1893 half, and matching 1898 coin, all three housed in matching coin sleeves bearing the notations of Stuart Cramer, Germain’s biographer and protégé, indicating that the coins were once the property of the great Lyceum magician.
