Changing/Production Tube or Plume to Bonbons. Circa 1860. Finely turned ribbed brass tube with finial-topped lids. A bright read feather, placed in the tube, is transformed into bonbons or other small objects when the lid is clamped on, then removed. With gimmick at one end to give the audience a final glimpse of the plume inside. Length 30". Finely made.
