Possibly printed and used for the 28 August 1963 Martin Luther King Jr. demonstration whose slogan was “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom”. Over 200,000 demonstrators marched on the nation’s capital to pressure John F. Kennedy and his administration to pass a rigorous civil rights bill in Congress. During this event, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his memorable “I Have a Dream” speech. A rare poster. No copies located at auction or institutionally.
