Photographers include BEATO, Antonio (Italian-British, 1835-1906) and SEBAH, Pascal (1823-1886). Contains images of everyday life in Egypt in the late 19th century and numerous photographs of ancient sites, among them the Pyramids of Giza, the Temple at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Dendera.
