[WWII]. HOFFMANN, Heinrich (1885–1957). A photograph album of Hitler and Goering inspecting the Mercedes Benz W154 before the Grand Prix. Berlin, 1938. 27 original black and white photographs (127 x 178 mm), each verso with the Hoffmann studio stamp. Neatly mounted in a contemporary album, each leaf with tissue guard. The Mercedes Benz W154 was a Grand Prix racing car designed by Rudolf Uhlenhaut for the 1938 and 1939 racing seasons. It was used by Rudolf Caracciola to win the 1938 European Championship.
