[MARINE CORPS]. Large group of Marine Corps photographs. Circa 1962/64. 41 black and white photographs collected in a single binder with the majority of them depicting Atlantic Fleet exercises at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 14, 1962. In attendance on this day were President John F. Kennedy and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran, pictured in two photographs included here. Additional photographs depict weapons demonstrations, parades, and ships, among them the USS Taconic. 8 x 10”. Many photographs with official U.S. Marine Corps stamps on verso, including those depicting JFK.
