CHAPLIN, Charlie (1889-1977). My Trip Abroad. New York: Harper & Brothers, 1922. 8vo. Original publisher’s boards (spine perished, staining to boards). Harper & Brothers code B-W, indicating publication date of February 1922. SIGNED BY CHARLIE CHAPLIN. In Europe he made the acquaintance of a veritable who’s who of early twentieth century luminaries, among them the British author H.G. Wells, socialite Sir Philip Sassoon, and Polish actress Pola Negri.
