Original mailing folds. Morrison writes in full, “I like your title, ‘Native Son,’ for its resonance and its accuracy. Your publisher probably thinks it’s been used far too often. He is right, but I can’t think of a better one. The subtitle I don’t like at all. Maybe just your names would do for a title: Sol & Jimmy: A friendship.
