Contemporary calf, raised bands, compartments completely gilt, 2 morocco lettering–pieces gilt (boards a bit worn). –– LUTHER, Marin. Biblia das ist die gantze Heilige Schrift. Basel: Emanuel Thurneysen, 1778. Folio (16 x 10”). Title printed in red and black, several full–page woodcuts. Contemporary pigskin stamped in blind with central lozenge, brass corner bosses and latches (2 corner bosses lacking, latches detached, spine rubbed with wear near crown, front joint cracked, contents browned). –– Together, 5 works in 5 volumes, condition as is.
