Being an approximately 500-page carbon typescript of the classic French textbook on sleight-of-hand magic, this the 1939 translation by noted performer and author Jean Hugard. Neatly typed on plain 4to sheets, primarily to rectos only. In the original tattered storage box. In 1945, Paul Fleming published Hugard’s translation as “Magic Without Apparatus” as part of his Fleming Classics series of conjuring books.
