[LEVITATION] FULLER, J. Five ALSs on Pictorial Letterhead Advertising Fuller’s Astarte Illusion. Dating from January – March of 1883, Fuller writes to J. Wilkinson regarding future and present appearances in Brighton with his magic show. Attractive engraved billhead pictures Fuller and “the ariel nymph” in performance. Small folios, retaining original mailing folds. While the letterheads bill the illusion as “Astarte,” the image depicts a version of Robert-Houdin’s Aerial Suspension, now commonly known as the Broom Suspension.
