This colorful pictorial map, published by the Wine Advisory Board of San Francisco, highlights the winelands of California, which regions are shaded in green and illustrated with vignettes of wine-growers and other California characters from Eureka to Imperial Valley. A decorative inset wine cask lists the wine-making towns from each major area of the state. Taylor was one of the most talented and prolific graphic map artists of her time. Her work appeared in poster and book form, and included maps for the Hawaii Tourist Bureau, the Golden Gate International Exposition, and an atlas of the United States, “Our USA—A Gay Geography,” accompanied by text by her brother.
