Central horizontal fold; corner creases, few spots of soiling and creasing in image; old adhesive marks on verso in corners. B. No copies found at auction. Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian 25/9591. This poster is unsigned and credited only to “American Indian Students” in the margin, but a card accompanying the Smithsonian’s entry for this poster notes that the poster was designed by Powskey of the Hualapai tribe of Arizona. It won second prize in a 1969 poster contest, with proceeds directed to scholarships for American Indian students. The posters were sold for $1.75 each.
