MORISOT, Berthe (1841-1895). Woman Reclining. Circa 1910. Etching on cancelled plate depicts Morisot’s daughter with Eugene Manet, Julie, reclining against the arm of a couch. Matted and framed, 14 ¾ x 15 ½”; image 3 ¼ x 4 ½”. Published in 1910 for Manet and the French Impressionists by Theodore Duret, the plate was cancelled afterwards by punching a hole on either side of the image.
