Menzies, bound with 2 manuscript leaves on vellum (2–line initials in blue, blue line filler, heightened in gold) with 30 member signatures including the authors thanking Menzies for his services. The Royal Society of Arts is a London based organization founded in 1754 that was committed to finding practical solutions to social challenges. Notable past fellows include Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Stephen Hawking, and Karl Marx.
