Queen Mary’s dolls’ house is the largest and most famous in the world, containing many miniature books made by the authors specifically for the doll house. 171 authors, 25 composers and 700 artists were asked to contribute to the doll house library, including Arthur Conan Doyle who produced a 503–word Sherlock Holmes story “How Watson Learned the Trick”.
