Chicago Police Department Intelligence Unit official document detailing conversation between “Joey the Clown” Lombardo and a police officer regarding a bombing in the neighborhood that had taken place the previous week. Includes three 5 x 7” surveillance photos of Lombardo in conversation with the officer. Joseph “Joey the Clown” Lombardo (1929-2019) was a high-ranking member of the Chicago Outfit who in 2005 was indicted as part of a federal investigation dubbed Operation Family Secrets. In addition to Lombardo 13 others were named as suspects in numerous crimes dating back to the 1970s which included murder, illegal gambling, and loan sharking.
