The Kiralfy brothers developed elaborate theatrical spectacles with enormous casts and lavish production values, centering on current trends and events to capture the public’s attention and imagination. After a thirteen-year collaboration, they parted ways and Imre Kiralfy began working to create “specs” as part of the Barnum and Bailey circus.
