Armored Personnel Unit Concept Maquette from The Matrix Reloaded. Original concept maquette of the Armored Personnel Unit (APU) model seen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. 19 x 18 x 12 ½”. Exhibits minor age and wear. The earliest APUs were used by UN forces against the machines at the start of the Machine War. Following the enslavement of humanity new APUs were constructed from whatever spare parts were available, and although they provided a strong defense of Zion they were in the end unable to withstand the assault of the Sentinels.
