Sent from Portland, Oregon on October 30, 1914, Houdini and Bess write to their family members congratulating them on their wedding: “May the journey through life in double harness of love enable you to both have a happy prosperous and healthy pilgrimage bringing contentment not only to yourselves but to those with whom you may come in contact.” Chipped, ragged, and torn; sold as-is. Provenance: passed to the current owner by descent from the family of Houdini’s brother, William Weiss.
