HOUDINI, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Houdini Typed Letter Signed. Dated November 7, 1910, and written on uncommon Houdini stationery from 84 Bedford Court Mansions, London, and addressed to Hereward Carrington, he discusses varied matter, mentioning the “big challenges” he has been conducting, “seances with Madame Paladeni” and his exploits as an aviator: “My bi-plane is still slumbering, and fear that I shall not be able to do anything in that line for some time. With two shows nightly, and changes of address every week, I don’t get spare time to do any flying.” The second page includes a typed statement of Houdini’s London address at Day’s Agency. With original mailing cover (stamp torn away). Signed in pencil, “Harry Houdini.” Closed tears to both sheets, else very good.
