Kilgore Salesman’s Sample Set of Cap Pistols and Toy Guns. Circa 1950s. Hinged plywood box with brass corner-pieces and handle, folding open to display a dozen Western style toy cap pistols and revolvers in original Kilgore pictorially-printed paper holsters with per-unit prices listed on the ten larger models. An additional tray with samples of bang caps, a time bomb, cap whip, and carded holster set and Avenger cap pistol also fits inside the case. Opens to 50 x 15 x 4”. Closed 25 x 15 x 4”. Few tears to holsters, but overall a wonderful and rare display.
