INSCRIBED ON COVER BY ELLA FITZGERALD, “Best Wishes.” Popularly known as the “First Lady of Song,” Ella Fitzgerald was famous for her classic songs “Dream A Little Dream of Me” and “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).” Over the course of a career spanning seven decades she won fourteen Grammys and in 1981 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her contributions to American life.
