Canvas and full grain leather suitcase with monogrammed initials “EHJ” on leather. 32 ½ x 20 x 11 ½”. Wear from age and use. Elton John legally changed his name to “Elton Hercules John” (EHJ) shortly after releasing his fourth studio album, Madman Across the Water. This suitcase was part of a prize package given away by MTV Networks in the 1990s, while Bo Overlock was working as a programming director. The prize was never claimed and was eventually gifted to Bo Overlock by the network. Provenance: The Bo Overlock Collection.
