INSCRIBED TO HANNAH OVERLOCK BY JOHNNY VAN ZANT, RICKEY MEDLOCKE, GARY ROSSINGTON, OWEN HALE, BILLY POWELL, HUGHIE THOMPSON, AND LEON RUSSELL WILKESON. One of the most iconic bands of the 1970s, Lynyrd Skynyrd released numerous Top 40 hits with their original line-up. The band split in 1977 following the death of members Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, and Cassie Gaines, then reformed a decade later. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
