INSCRIBED BY NINA SIMONE, “My baby.” A singer, songwriter, and civil rights activist, Nina Simone over the course of a career spanning five decades proved herself a true musical chameleon, dipping her toes into the genres of R & B, gospel, jazz, and pop music.
