CLAIR, René (1898–1981). Autograph letter signed (“Rene Clair”) to Georges Neveux, 16 April 1948. One–page, small 4to (268 x 203 mm). The filmmaker affectionately writes to the French dramatist regarding Neveux’s article “The School of Alma”. Clair is best known for his film “I Married a Witch” (1942) that starred Veronica Lake.
