Typed document signed (“Dorothy Dandridge”) for the film “Island in the Sun”, 12 December 1956. 2–pages, small 4to (279 x 216 mm), on Twentieth Century–Fox Film letterhead, staple holes at upper corner. A contractual agreement between Dandridge and the Studio, stating that the studio will not reimburse the actress for costs while off the film set. [With:] a TLS dated 31 July 1956 from the studio asking that Dandridge return to work per her obligation in their contract. Received and signed by Dandridge.
