Bogert Tube. New Haven: Petrie & Lewis (P&L), ca. 1930. Water is poured into a metal canister, which is capped with paper and set in a nickel-plated stand. Dry silks are then produced from the interior of the tube. Early example with force-fitting upright and thin table base. Hallmarked. Height 37” (assembled). Scarce.
